The PepAxis-Atlas 2 (formerly 286 Pro) adopts a modular channel design to support efficient multi-sequence peptide synthesis. The system provides 24 amino acid positions, arranged in groups of four, with each channel equipped with an independent reactor to enable parallel synthesis of multiple peptide sequences.
The instrument utilizes an “on-demand feeding, complete transfer” reagent management approach. Users weigh the required amino acids for each synthesis batch, and the system automatically performs a one-time full transfer into the reactor, ensuring precise reagent usage while minimizing material loss.
This design effectively reduces reagent waste and is particularly suitable for mid-scale R&D applications involving high-value amino acids, such as 1–5 g impurity profile studies and process development.
With its simplified and intelligent operational design, the PepAxis-Atlas 2 reduces experimental complexity and provides an ideal platform for peptide synthesis training, method standardization, and process optimization research.
